This 77 year old male patient with a history of venous stasis disease and hypertension. He has chronic ulcers on his legs that are painful. These ulcers range in si/e from 2.8cm x 2.0cm down to .5cm x .5cm. The patient states he wears compression hose and has not received medical treatment for these ulcers.

Plan:

Culture ulcers

Clean with Carrington cleanser

biO2 Oxy-Mist treatment sprayed on all ulcers for 5 minutes.

Augmentin 875mg. For 10 days

Hydrogel applied

Adaptic and gauze dressing

Unaflex unaboot applied to both legs

Instructed to return for Oxy-Mist treatments 3 times per week

Subsequent visits:

All ulcers healing at 2nd visit. Ulcer contracting and decreasing in size, largest ulcer now 2cm x 1.5cm.

All ulcers healed at 16 days.
