This patient is a 59 yr. old female with a Past Medical History of arthritis and painful arches who had seen me for routine foot care. She developed painful reoccurring planter foot blisters in the fall of 2003 wi ht a case of cellulitis that hospitalized her. Routine weekly debridements, antibiotics and athletes foot steroid anti fungal cream were applied. She had difficulty healing and I then started her on Amino-Plex® Spray & oxygen therapy weekly and home treatments with the spray. We were unable to determine if there was a component of contact dermatitis because she refused to get patch tested. However, the aminoplex spray worked really well and got her completely healed in a short period of time. See photos.
